How do I know?.....let me tell you a quick story.
First imagine what it would be like playing your favorite Wii games in a movie theater on on a giant 25'X40' screen with full theater stereo surround sound. Our Dad owned the University Mall Cinemas in Provo/Orem, Utah near the BYU campus. On Friday and Saturday nights after the last show, my two brothers and I would go in and hook up our Wii console. Talk about fun! We connected directly into the projection equipment used for the ads shown between the regular movies. Our games filled the gigantic screen and the sound was fantastic. It was easy to find a "fourth" man to play with us. It didn't take long for word to get around and tons of our "friends" showed up wanting to play too.
We only had two games that we played over and over. We wanted more games to play but who can afford $40-$60 for each one...and then not know if it's any fun or not until after the money is already spent.
So being cheap college students we did something really stupid!
We decided to go online to download some Wii games. The stupid thing was going to the free Wii download sites. We discovered after we downloaded two games that our computer got infected with a virus that completely froze up everything. Fortunately one of our friends is a real computer geek and after two days of work he had us up and running again. We learned an important lesson - stay away from free and peer to peer Wii download sites.
#2 - All unlimited Wii download sites are not created equal. That may sound like a given, but it's important. There are glaring differences in some sites, the difference in the types of downloads available, from just games, to movies, T.V. shows and more. Then there are subtle differences that you can't see by going to or reading the site information. Is the software easy to install? How easy is the software to use? Is it reliable? How fast are the download speeds? What happens if I have a problem?
To help you understand this better let me get back to my story. My 2 brothers, myself and our best friend wanted to find the very best Wii download site. So we decided on a sneaky plan.Here was our plan: each one of us would would go online, thoroughly read through several Wii download websites. After we checked them out we each made our choice and paid to join that site. Our criteria was to see how easy the site was to use, the software, the number of games available, how fast games downloaded and the site support (we all pretended to have a problem downloading), and then of course the price. We wouldn't tell anyone else in the group which Wii download site we joined. At the end of the week we all met and then shared what we discovered.
